Saturday Summary: Authenticity And Friendship

Just as the cleaning supplies appeared on her site, so did the spray bottle in this video! This video has a midnights-esque 80s look and feel. The video features the lineup from when Taylor appeared on the Graham Norton show, and even at the end, it breaks the fourth wall to acknowledge this. There are some interesting moments to be noted, such as the contrast between Domhnall Gleeson spraying the cactus but Taylor spraying herself because she thinks she's the problem, but then we see him washing it off her in the shower, and then later also protecting her from the anti opalite spray.

This Song is absolutely ethereal! its tender in the way that hurts. It captures that familiar ache of self-erosion in love the slow reshaping of yourself to fit someone else’s needs. Her voice feels almost fragile here, like she’s letting the thought sit in the open rather than resolving it. It’s intimate, unsettling, and deeply human the kind of song that lingers long after it ends.

The Jennie remix of Dracula is upbeat, fun and makes you want to move! Their voices mix so well together and we enjoyed every minute of it!

This song is a very honest way of describing what love and heartbreak can be like in an all to familiar story with lines such as "9.02 on a Thursday when you picked up your phone. Do you miss me or are you scared to be alone?"

Nick Jonas' new album came out this week and One of the most emotionally striking moments on the album comes with Gut Punch, a melancholic track that truly lives up to its name. The song feels like an open diary entry, raw and unfiltered and the puppet in this new video really reflects this. Lyrics like “how did I get so good at being mean to myself” cut deep, capturing an internal struggle that feels painfully relatable. It’s one of those songs that doesn’t try to resolve the pain, it just sits with it, making it all the more powerful.

A collab we have been not so patiently waiting for ever since it was released, our two favorite "nice to meet ya" singers Myles Smith and Niall Horan dropped Drive Safe this week! You can see how much fun they had making this song and we have just as much fun every time we listen!

If we turn the car in the other direction for a moment Zayn dropped his song die for me this week ahead of the announcement of his new album KONNAKOL’, out April 17. this track feels very early Zayn and WE ARE SO HERE FOR IT!
