Welcome back to another Saturday summary this week alot has gone on in the music world so hold tight as we recap all of it! Consider this your weekly musical seatbelt check, because the release radar has been BUSY busy. If your playlists have been feeling a little stale, don’t worry, this week brought the kind of chaos we actually enjoy.
Harry Styles is back at it with the announcement that hs4 is not only real its coming! Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally is coming out March 6th and we can't contain our excitement! The hype levels are officially doing backflips in platform boots. Even just having a title and date feels like a full meal right now, and the countdown is absolutely on. March 6th can’t come fast enough, someone please invent a fast-forward button.
Robbie Williams surprise dropped his album britpop this album has many amazing references throughout and yet remains so unapologetically Robbie which is exactly what makes it an album you want to hit repeat on! It’s the kind of drop that has you doing a double-take like “wait… that’s OUT now?!” and then suddenly you’ve listened three times and you’re emotionally attached. There’s something so fun about an album that nods to the past while still sounding like the artist didn’t ask permission once. (full review posted seperately)
Maddison Beer dropped the new album Locket which feels like a collection of keepsakes, the kind you hold onto because they meant something, even when they hurt. It’s intimate, emotionally detailed, and still undeniably Madison, balancing dark pop edge with soft, confessional songwriting. The album moves between confidence and vulnerability without losing its identity, and by the end it feels like you’ve been let into a private world that’s polished enough to be pop, but personal enough to feel real. It’s one of those albums where you catch a lyric and go “oop, that one hit the ribcage.” Every track feels like a different charm on the same chain, and the emotional continuity makes it super easy to listen front to back. Basically: it’s a locket, and yes, it’s holding your feelings hostage. (full review posted seperate)
Leigh Anne dropped the video for Most Wanted featuring Valiant and Rvssian its a very dark pop sound with a very sultry vibe. This one leans into the mood in a way that feels sleek and intentional, like a late-night drive soundtrack with the windows down and the drama turned up. The collaboration adds extra texture to the track, giving it that layered, cinematic edge. It’s giving “dangerously replayable,” and yes, that is a compliment.
PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson dropped the video for stateside the video is a masterpiece with them dressing in each others eras and both their latest album titles make a illuminated feature. The track itself is very dance pop! It’s the kind of visual that rewards you for paying attention, styling details, playful references, and big pop-star energy all in one place. The dance-pop pull is strong here, the beat practically taps you on the shoulder and says “get up.” Honestly, it’s serving eras, mirrors, and main-character lighting.
Hillary Duff dropped the music video for roommates. this track many will agree feels like the 2026 version of come clean. It has that bright, nostalgic pop spirit without feeling like it’s trying to copy anything beat-for-beat. The video adds an extra layer of personality, making the song feel even more lived-in and fun. Basically, it’s a little time capsule moment that is new, but comfort-food new.
Dolly Parton partnered with Lainey Wilson, Miley Cyrus, Quuen Latifah and Reba to release light of a clear blue morning with all proceeds going towards pediatric cancer research. All of their voices mix beautifully to create such a delicate and heartwarming track. It’s one of those collaborations where you can really hear the respect and intention in how the vocals sit together. The song choice carries a gentle strength, and the cause behind it makes the release feel even more meaningful. A beautiful reminder that music can comfort and contribute at the same time.
Charlie Puth dropped Beat Yourself Up. this track has elements from many eras of music past and present such as 2010s esque trumpets but 80s grroove and synths. It’s a fun sonic blend that feels like flipping through radio stations in the best way, familiar flavors, fresh packaging. The production choices keep it bouncy while still letting the song’s theme land. Also, the title is basically a message to all of us overthinkers: put the mental boxing gloves down.
Meghan Moroney dropped the music video for Wish I didn't and it's giving Mr and Mrs Smith and the lyrics are also a masterpiece! The video leans into that tension-and-style combo that makes you feel like you’re watching a mini movie, not just a clip. And when the lyrics hit, they hit, sharp, specific, and super replay-worthy. It’s the kind of track where you sing along dramatically even if you’re just doing the dishes.
Nessa Barret dropped the track High On Heaven and its very dark pop. This one sits firmly in that shadowy pop lane, moody and atmospheric with a heavy emotional pull. It’s the kind of song that fits a night-time playlist perfectly, headphones on, world off. Dark pop fans, your snacks are ready.
That has been this week's summary be sure to charge those earbuds because if the last few weeks have been any indication, the 2026 music forecast keeps getting better and better! At this point, if you’re making a “to listen” list, good luck, she’s getting LONG, but in the most delicious way!
